The highlight of this year was assisting Nicole to pass her Bush Firefighter assessment and Todd passing

his AF qualification and gaining his Medium Rigid Truck license.

The Brigade hosted local Brigades for joint training on grass firefighting, an AED/O2 use refresher (thanks

David Harker), CABA support and FireMapper. The Brigade was hosted by Wingello RFB for training on

RFS Incident Management Systems.

We were a part of a Wingecarribee Southern Village Brigades and Mulwarree Brigades joint exercise

involving structure/grass fires, first aid and pumping.

  • Community engagement

‘Get Ready Weekend’, thanks to all that attended. Visit by Riverwood Air League as part of their Duke of

Edinburgh hike. Continued visits to local properties to give landholders property protection advice.

  • Fundraising

Kirrakee lunch preparation and serving, Brigadoon parking, Berrima Horse Trials parking
