The highlight of this year was assisting Nicole to pass her Bush Firefighter assessment and Todd passing
his AF qualification and gaining his Medium Rigid Truck license.
The Brigade hosted local Brigades for joint training on grass firefighting, an AED/O2 use refresher (thanks
David Harker), CABA support and FireMapper. The Brigade was hosted by Wingello RFB for training on
RFS Incident Management Systems.
We were a part of a Wingecarribee Southern Village Brigades and Mulwarree Brigades joint exercise
involving structure/grass fires, first aid and pumping.
‘Get Ready Weekend’, thanks to all that attended. Visit by Riverwood Air League as part of their Duke of
Edinburgh hike. Continued visits to local properties to give landholders property protection advice.
Kirrakee lunch preparation and serving, Brigadoon parking, Berrima Horse Trials parking

Please note that all landowners and property occupiers who are intending to conduct pile burning activities MUST notify 24 hours prior by following the link below and register.
Log onto www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/notify
You are also required to notify your neighbours at least 24 hours in advance of the time that the intended pile burn is to commence.
The Brigade Captain should also be informed.
