THE PENROSE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

An Association dedicated to making our village a better place to live

The Penrose Community Association is made by a group of residents keen to look after, protect and enhance the beautiful village we live in. The PCA aims to run a variety of community events which appeal to as many people in the village as possible. They always welcome suggestions on what you would like to see happen in the village so please contact us via the contact form on this website if you would like to send your suggestions in.


     

Aims and Objectives of the PCA 

  • To take practical measures to protect the character and facilities of the village of Penrose 
  • To look at ways to improve the sustainability of the village in terms of transport, bushfire protection power supply, recreational, educational, community support and communication facilitie 
  • To stay informed about and respond to any local government or State Government plans which may affect the village. 
  • To raise with Wingecarribee Council or the State Government any issues that affect Penrose including road and wildlife safety. 
  • To promote the village to ensure it remains a viable community
  • To organise community events and raise funds for the benefit of Penrose community groups *To apply for grants to improve the village facilities 
  • To participate in the Southern Villages Group in order to network, share information and discuss common issues with other Southern villages.

3 Year - Adult Membership: $40


1 Year - Family Membership: $40

3 Year - Family Membership: $50
